Reading this thread, that was the clip I was after but couldn't remember their names.
Battiston was knocked out and took a long time to recover.
Funnily enough later on he was the best man at Schumachers wedding.

It's only barely short of criminal assault. Strangely I think the resulting goal kick went against Battiston rather than a free kick and straight red for Schumacher as it should have been.

They are going way overboard with it to be honest. Morgan is looking at the ball all the way and Hume's face isn't a stationary target; he runs a good ten yards to get into the path of Morgan's elbow. It was dangerous to swing his elbow and Morgan was rightly booked, but it was never a deliberate attempt to hurt Hume like people are trying to make out it was. I think that Barnsley (especially Simon Davey) are trying to deflect critisism away from their medical staff who sent Hume home without noticing that he had a fractured cheekbone, rather than send him to the hospital for a checkup like anyone else would have done.
