Worst soap opera?

I don't know why but the question recently came into my mind, "which is the worst soap opera on TV?". I haven't watched any in a fair while but I remember that Emmerdale and Eastenders were particularly **** and insipid in every respect, with other programmes like Hollyoaks being too much of an abortion to even really consider as a valid TV programme in the scope of the question. I do recall that Coronation street at least had some degree of humour in it.

So what's everyone's opinion on TV's worst soap opera?
