Main use will be work, Internet, some streaming and photo editing.

budget 400

minor..if any at all...gaming
no OS
no Keyboard
no monitor needed

Would it be better to go down the AMD route?

Would need
-case
-mobo
-psu
-RAM
-dvd drive
-CPU
-SSD
-Storage HD

Budget can be stretched a bit if needed :)

Is AMD the route for the budget?

If the system is going to be playing games, it depends on the games ..... the A10-5800K is a cracking solution by all accounts. I will wait until tomorrow before I spec tho as the deals change in the morning.

Is the RAM automatically 2133 or would I need to tweak it to get to that speed?

Is the A10 chip easy enough to overclock? I've never OC'd an AMD chip before (I'll throw in a cooler later on, I just want to know if it can OC easily)

If I OC the CPU...does the onboard graphics automatically get OC'd too? Not that I'd really need to OC the graphics tbh.
