A competitor has a desktop which I'm possibly interested in.

I've costed the majority of the parts and I'm not sure I can build it cheaper. I wanted to know your thoughts.

Specs of the system are

Ryzen 3600
Asus prime b450 motherboard
2x8gb 3200mhz ddr4
MSI 5700xt
Corsair 550w PSU
240gb ssd
1tb hardrive
Windows 10
WiFi card

Not sure I've missed anything but these systems are for sale at £899.99 which to me seems very well priced.

Any thoughts?

I've had to do my research on the company and reviews seem decent for the company.

Ideally I would use ocuk but a simarly specced machine with a 5600xt is getting on for 1200 with them.

contact customer support with a link to the deal you've seen. See if they'll price match or anything.

Always worth a punt, as they say "Shy bairns get nowt"

Tried my best:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £870.12 (includes shipping: £13.20)

Only downside of a pre-built is that sometimes they use working customer returns and openbox items etc. to build them (depending on the business). You do have the advantage of just being able to send the whole unit back if there are any issues however!

+1
Honestly just ask first - they may be able to do something, and the support they offer (although hopefully not needed) is leagues ahead of competitors

Update.

Unfortunately ocuk were not able to get anywhere near the price and although the warranty with ocuk is better. I'm not sure it was worth the extra £360 I was quoted.

I ordered from the competitor yesterday and arrived today. Very happy with it so far. I also notice the price has now gone up by 50 so think I got a good deal
