Another one is not really needed. If you have the money then, sure, but I would not think it's worth the investment.

It will generate extra heat and use more power. Then you have the problem with drivers in Crossfire etc. A overclocked 7950 should be fine at such resolution anyways :)

How are you liking the monitor? I use photoshop and was thinking about grabbing one at some point for it's colour reproduction and IPS like qualities.

tbh i find it fantastic, but compaired to my old one it is a mission times better. I have not really seen anything else to compair it to apart from the ones in pc world etc, and it looks abot better than what they offer.

lol, i need to do abit more research tbh as i have not done it before. I still have my gpu L plates. i know from pressing the OC genie button on the mpower, it will clock the cpu to 4.2 ghz, and up the ram speed.

:-)

i should do really, i need to get another hard drive as my current one is full. am thinking aboit a 1TB+ version. but not sure what go go with tbh

I wouldn't normally recommend using desktop software to OC a cpu as it usually uses excess voltages, but 4.2ghz shouldn't be problem and it's easily enough speed for most.

For the gpu, an easy start without worrying about setting voltage is to just max out the sliders in Catalyst control centre (inc +20% power handling). You'll have room to give it more when you're ready to unlock voltages later on. It's all perfectly safe and the WF cooler won't break a sweat.

A good HDD bargain at the moment is the Seagate 2TB for £74.
Do you have an SSD?

so you are saying in ccc, put the gpu clock settings and memory, +20% to the max, and it should be fine?

i havent got a ssd just yet, am gonna get one maybe later on in the year/next year
