Worth an upgrade?

Guys at the moment I have a P35 DS4, is it worth upgrading to a X38 to allow for CrossfireX, and to further futureproof?
At the moment I am running a 8800GTX, but might go for a couple of 3870 X2's later on in the year, should I hold off till then and upgrade my mobo?

If you just have won EuroMillion then yes. Your system is good for another 1 or even 2 years. I really can't see the point of upgrading from a P35 board even to a X48, the increase in performance is too minimal, a waste of money IMO.
