If you upgrade to quad on P965 will be limit your performence. I got Abit AB9 QuadGT before with a Q9450, not very good special when you o.c, the MOSFET got very very hot made all the volltage drop. Stretch a bit more for a new board and cpu. Or find some second hand stuff.

thanks for the input / suggestions,
yes its a poor show not to clock the E6600 ,
its used for games (( Flight Sim X & Cod4 etc)) and downloading at the same time, some of the time. quad might be useful eh? also if got the quad would probably clock that up but not loads, can Xp use 4 gig then? i know Vista can?

Thanks

A new cpu would just be a waste & performance boost will be tiny.
Same with a 4850 to similar performance wise to the 8800gtx.

As said new another 2g of ram (1.3g on xp still worth it)
And a new Cpu cooler maybe a tuniq tower or similiar & OC it.

All saved moneyies can be set to me :D
