I am not sure if I should grab a second monitor. I currently have a Phillips 20" widescreen, along with a 19" 4:3 CRT, and am getting pretty anoyed with the lack of sharpness on the CRT (its not the greatest TBH) and also the resolution differences (1600x1200 VS 1680x1050) and so was thinking of grabbing a dell 20" mostly because of the composite and Svideo inputs.

Anyone think its worth the cash, or am I kinda being wasteful...

Hmmm. My bad, forgot to mention :p

I use Photoshop a HUGE amount, and so like to have pallets and other such things on one screen. At the moment I work on the image with my philips, and the CRT just looks pretty with pallets. I tend to also watch DVD's/watch movie clips/streaming music videos using my other monitor.

Hmmm. Gonna be an expensive month for me :(

I gonna buy 2GB of ram and an x2 3800 to lol.

Truthfully, there are a few other nice monitors other than the Dell though, so not certain if I should go with that or a different one :/

One last thing is bugging me.

I am not sure if I should just save up an extra couple of hundred and buy a 24" dell instead.

I kind of like the idea of the extra resolution TBH...

Does anyone have a 20" and a 24" monitor to tell me how much of a difference there is?

Hmmm... I have to admit I am tempted. I was going to just buy the 2405FPW though, I dont see the point in grabbing the 07?

I am really torn, save up for a few more weeks and grab the 2405, or grab the 2007FWP now :(

Hmm, problem is that the 05 model would not be able to be purchased new :( I must say I am rather surprised at the masses of people that say to get the 2405 rather than the 20".

Talbs13. I agree with you somewhat, even if the 05 costs 500, then you could basically get 2 20" for the same prince = bargin tbh
