Just ordered another Samsung F3 1tb to replace my F1 320gb that just died. These hard drives were £38 in October when I bought it, so not very happy about it dieing already, but never mind.

Just wondering if it's worth RMAing it? They're no longer sold at OCUK, so I'm guessing it wouldn't be replaced with a new one, it'll probably be refurbished.

Oh, and the error I was getting with it only happens once every 5 hours or so, so it's likely when they test that they'll find nothing wrong.

I rma'd my old F1 320 last year, came back refurbished, probably was'nt a major issue, so they where able to fix it. That since getting it back has sat in my sisters comp with no issues, as at the time i just bought another as they where cheap.

Just so u know my error, was it would lock up and freeze my comp randomly, but not all the time. So an intermittent fault.

like absence says, just do it directly with Samsung, its quick and easy, u will either get it back fully working or a new replacement.

Exactly what my fault is. Sometimes the mouse stays free for a while before that locks up too?

Think I'll RMA, and give it to my brother.
