Currently running OCZ Value 2x1 GB @ 3448 @ 2T on my kit below. The ram will not budge from these timings, & will fail memtest if tried on 1T. So obviously use a divider when OCing.

Runs fine at stock, but am tempted on trying the G.Skill 2GB DDR ZX PC3200 instead..Seems to be some good ram judging on the reports.

Anyway, longwinded question! Is it worth it? What, if any performance increase will I notice? Mild O'Cing at the mo, manly CPU/Divider..Although would be nice to run @ 1:1.

But what difference in performance would the G.Skill 2.3.2.5 @ 1T give over my OCZ 3.4.4.8 @ 2T at stock roughly, mainly for games & benching..

Many thanks.

Cheers for the reply..

If I took the OC out of the equation, & was running purely at stock, would I notice that much difference between the two in terms of everyday performance?

Cheers for the replies all. Just confirmed what I was thinking really. So many thanks!

Before looking to buy new memory I would first try and work out why your present memory will not run at 1T. I know from Ballistix I had before that the memory was the cause and got replaced.

Yeah this is a concern for me, no reason as far as I can see why it should not run in 1T? Have posted on the OCZ support forum to see what they think..
