Worth changing my timings?

I have 4*512mb geil PC6400. Now it isn't running at the stated timings. Currently I'm at 400*7/2.1v. Is it worth changing my timings and if so how do I do it? I believe a hex editor is used?

A what? cant you get into bios? And its definatley worth changing them, even more so if you have an a64 rig

It's always going to be worth changing the timings if you can get them lower, it all depends whether you can do that and still be stable. What times are you at in BIOS?

What voltage etc.....?

Tell us the reat of the stuf that Cob asked for, motherboard, chip.......
