Current psu, a Xigmatek Centauro 700w bronze is coming up to 3 years old in Jan. Had no issues with it since day 1 and fans appear to be fine also. Lower intake is dust guarded. I plan to keep my current spec until release or after of full fat Pascal and Kaby lake. Would you bother changing out my current psu given it will have to last another 8-12 months and likely be sold on as a full system? Potential damage to other components should current psu fail? Don't ideally want to spend another £70-90 on a system not worth all that much. PC is never ran 24/7 and I'd describe the usage as average.

Looking into it a bit more, I should be fine as it's plenty for my system and not heavily used. Seems to have reviewed well and easily obtained bronze. They quote MTBF as 100k hours @ 25c, I'm probably not even at 5k even though the temperature will sit much higher at times. Gold or platinum next time round, like the look of the EVGA warranty.
