Worth changing the cpu?

On a Gigabyte 965P DS3 with an [email protected] and HD4870 video card, on a purely games front would I see a `noticeable` difference changing to a Q6600 ?

Or is it a wait and save money.....
 
Changing to a Quad would only benefit games that support using more than 2 cores and there arnt that many atm. It is becoming more popular over time but I dont have a problem with Duals in any games personally.
