Thinking maybe of getting this memory, building a system for someone else who is happy to have my Crucial Ballistix Tracer 8500 sticks and was thinking of changing to this ram as I really don't need a high fsb and was thinking these would be better to run 1:1 with much lower latencys.
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 HK PC2-6400C4 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit (F2-6400CL4D-2GBHK)

Does anyone have this ram and can coment on what its like?

If it's below 440mhz then they're not really any better than these tbh.

I am running at 442 fsb with the ram at 4:5 divider at just over DDR1100 5-5-5-15 timings

So do you recon it would be a better bet to go down to a 1:1 ratio at lower speeds but tighter timings that the g-skill offer? I am thinking the g-skill would still hit the 442fsb with 4-4-3-5 timings

Tighter timings still don't do much on an Intel setup tbh. Generally higher speed lower latency is preferred so if it was me I'd keep the tracer.
