Hey guys I currently have a Q6600, 5770 CuCore, 4GB of XMS2 and a G31 based Gigabyte motherboard.
I contemplated getting an X38 motherboard on the member's market so I can clock the Q6600 (Need to improve my fps in BC2) and with the extra graphics slot, I could crossfire with another 5770 in the future.
Would I be better off just selling the 5770 then getting a much newer card like a 6950?
Is this sensible or should I just wait for a new machine in a year or two? My computer pretty much does everything fine at the moment, and BC2 is pretty much the most demanding game I play, though I'm waiting for BF3 to hit the stores.
