I have a laptop whit these specs

2.0Ghzcore2duo santa rosa
8600m gs 256mb vram
4gb ram
120gb harddisk
1gb intel turbo memory ram

I think it sums up to 5.256 gb ram

So is it worthit to go from 32bit windows vista ultimate to 64 bit windows vista home permium (dont need ultimate stuff since i use it for gaming and watching movies only) considering i have a processor whic suports 64bit and 4gb+ram which my laptop is reading only 3.0gb ...

Will i see any performance boost?

yup, i would

double check that there are 64bit drivers for all your kit (being a laptop, it's likely there are drivers)

well since mylaptop came with 4gb ram i think thats it's drivers support 64-bit...i'd have to ask from were i bought it tho because mine is and "xxodd" laptop and there site is only german :( well i know from were to get the g card drivers and for the rest i just have to hope that they are compatible.

Well maybe any one of you here dont happen to know were to find 64bit drivers for "xxodd 8252D" ..just askin

Well yes there are driver there but on the notebooks/8252d serie/driver , you can only find drivers for xp :( i need for windows vista 64 bit (i have 3bit vista install right know so they work with vista i just dont know if they are compatible with 64bit)
