Well you said it yourself, there is always new, I think it is expected than Q1 2008 for the next Nvidia & ATi cards to come out but they are being rather secretive so no one knows for absolute sure... I personally think the 8800GT is currently the best bang for buck type thing, you know it offers just short of 8800GTX performance with half the price attached to it, I've went with 8800GT for it's value & price... It's still a very able card for many games... Well all games except perhaps Crysis & a few others that no cards currently can truly handle.
