Worth getting a 295 over a 285?

I play GTA4 a lot which apparently doesn't support SLI
Is it worth getting a 295 over a 285 so that in other games I get a much better boost? Is SLI all its cracked up to be or is it quite a hassle with drivers etc.
Would I notice much difference in terms of video memory? With settings maxed games are starting to need more so could the 295 struggle in this area seeing as though it only has the same per gpu as the 260?

The 295 isn't SLI, it's two gpu's on one card.

Indeed, the 295 is SLi. It won't struggle with anything on the market. Get one if you can afford it, and regularly play games at 1920x1200 or above.
