Worth getting a 2k monitor

I have a 27" 1080p monitor at the moment and I'm considering getting a 2k monitor just to give me some more screen estate but I'm wondering will it actually be a big difference

You can get a 2k monitor for around £200, what are the 2k monitors in this price range like

If you're doing work rather than games, and you struggle to keep track of all the open windows, then yes, adding a second monitor will make a big difference.

not so good for fps gaming though - older va panel with hit-and-miss ghosting issues.
i have one myself, and for £200, can't really fault it.
