I have had my EVGA T2 1000w since 2017 still running strong,

Is it work upgrading to a new PSU with the new GPU connectors for on the 40 series cards?

Or is is there a good adapter you can buy to make the cables look neater?

That's a Superflower built psu based on their own Leadex Titanium platform. EVGA has cheaped out and dumped Superflower now so I doubt if you would get any help from them. Cablemod may do a cable for it or you can get generic cables that are essentially longer versions of the Nvidia adaptor that comes with the cards and just plug into the ends of 3-4 pci-e leads but quality varies so be very careful if you go down that route.

EVGA Don't do any Psu's anymore do they
They have announced/released PSUs with ATX 3.x and 12VHPWR cables, but from what I saw the warranties are very short. They haven't released any motherboards for the latest chipset gen (AMD or Intel) either.

Already got the 4080 running on this PSU no issues just wanted to know if it was worth it to upgrade as I'm doing other system upgrades

Now that I'm changing my case do you think it's worth going for a new PSU or just get a cable mod extension to neaten things up although they are about £25 is it worth it

That's a great PSU. Personally I'd just get cables, more than ample for current power usage and will fulfil future needs. Just make sure you seat those cable mod extensions fully.
