Worth going 2900 crossfire?

Considering grabbing a second 2900 tomorrow sometime, just sort of having second thoughts at the last minute (always the way).

Considering it as an upgrade for crysis, airborne etc, just not sre f its worthwhile. Had x1900xtx's in crossfire and didn't really see much difference aside from 3d-mark scores. (gaming at 1920x1200 with quad 6600 @ 3ghz).
 
At that res it may be worth it for games like crysis but then again you could notch down the res save that extra money and get an r700/g90 when they come out.
 
Well are you struggling with games now?

If not why don't you just wait until the Crysis is actually out, might even come down in price some.
 
Not really struggling with games right now, just the fact that some games i can't crank up the FSAA as much as id like. DOD-source for some reaon ive seen get as low as 22fps for a while though that was with a lot of smoke grenades and action going on.

Ive seen some reviews which make crossfire out to be pretty tempting, just having a hard time making up my mind.
 
Ended up ordering the second card just now, only hope my sata cables arrive at the same time or it'll be a while before i can use it :(
