Worth it or not?

I currently have the system in sig.

Now, my current board clocks my 3770K nicely, but I want to be able to run my Samsung Green higher.

It seems I may have gotten it stable at 2000MHz, but was really hoping to get 2133 at least, which I know it can do from using it on X79 previously.

So playing with the idea of getting a Z77 Sabertooth.

Would this be a waste? Am I going to see any real benefits going above current 2000?

My other option would be getting 2 x8GB high speed sticks, but still not sure I am guaranteed to get decent speeds on Z68 board.

But is it possible I land up with a Sabertooth that clocks worse than my current board?

Very unlikely to see any benefits in real world use, for IB, anything above 1600 MHz brings very little performance gains.

I certainly wouldnt upgrade just for slightly faster RAM speed and as said above the gain would be minimal, likely less than 1%
