Worth overclocking 3570?

Hey all!

few mates been pushing me to overclock my cpu, i5 3570k. But I don't see any reason to! I only play wow, will give watch dogs a bash when its released.

I bought this system from here, it came with an overclock but I kept getting blue screens. Went back to factory in the bios and never looked back!

What you guys reckon?

My temps don't go any higher than 45-50, then again I don't really "push" my system with wow :P
 
Its always worth overclocking its free performance :)
What OC did you have and what cooler have you got?
 
4.4 should certainly be achievable. Have you got the settings from before at all? If not there are lots of guides about.
Just checking it wasn't a standard one or anything

Just up the multi and you will be surprised what they will do even at stock volts....mine in 2nd rig does 4.1Ghz at 1.02v as droops from stock of 1.08v underload
 
Will it do anything noticeable... might give you another 5 FPS in some games which can be nice, but nothing else major.

Still fun to play around with it once stable.
 
The overclockers one is still on the bios, but it just blue screens whenever I use it. If its nothing major then I wont bother :P
