Worth reading the invincible comics?

After finishing the season finale for Invincible on amazon prime i really want to see what happens next. So i was thinking about reading on in the comics but is it worth it cause i was told that the pacing in the comics isnt great and some of the story seems rushed is this true?

The comics are good for sure. The show is so good and faithful that i'd wait for that unless you're despeate for more tho.

Really depends on how long it takes between seasons if i will read the comics, i might just wait it out for now.

i liked the comic and didn't think it was rushed.
the show is much slower though - at this pace it will be 10 years before its finished.

It has a great start, a slow middle and a sudden end. Feels a bit like Kirkman planned the start and the end, but didn't have any plans to connect them

. Or he just got bored and decided to finish it.

It's definitely still worth a read though, very good series overall - and as aardvark says, it could be a long time before the show gets to the end - there's 25 books, and I think the series covers about the first 3?
