just found out while i was out of the room while building my pc my brother got some artic silver on the bottom of the cpu and on the cpu slot on the m/b 
, right my pc is working fine (q6600 oc to 3.00ghz), is worth me removing cpu and cleaning it and my m/b. He says he removed as much as he can but there was a very thin layer on the bottom of the cpu and his not about the m/b as it was only a tiny blob which he removed.
Well? I'm half tempted to just leave it as it happend when i was on my 4th rebuild (on the same day) and now my temps are fine. Also if there was any serious problems i doubt my pc would have booted let alone be 8hours prime stable at 3.00ghz.
