Worth replacing a GTX480 yet?

Wondering if my 480 will cut it for crysis 3 and if its worth replacing with a 670 or something. How much faster is the 670? Around 35% ish?

Have you thought about going SLI? I dont see that much of a performance gain according to bencmarks I've found. Maybe wrong though.

Grab a used GTX 480 on ebay man and SLI them.

2 x GTX480 in SLI will be quicker than a single 680 providing you're not using all the available VRAM

tx 650w would be pushing it with 2x 480's
850W psu would be needed.

Yeh, thought about a second 480 but the heat and power consumption would be insane. I'd need a beefy new PSU too. Probably just keep what I have till next gen cards appear.

480 is still a great card.
overclock it some if needed but watch the temps.

What settings should I be able to run crysis 3 at on my 480? Monitor is 1920x1200. I'm hearing crysis 3 is a real GPU killer.

I agree with the 480 sli and it benches as well as a 680

Sell your 480 and buy 2x 7850 you'll almost see double speed if overclocked. And low power consumption too. Plus you won't have a memory handicap.

Don't hassle yourself with selling the 480, much better things can be done with them
