worth replacing cm sickleflows at top of case with sp 120s?

I have the top two 120mm fans as another intake and notice a considerable difference between the sickleflow pulling in air and the amount my sp120s are exhausting out the back, any recommendation's? Or are sp120s mainly for rad use?

As in thinking of buying a second set right now

Thanks in advance

SPs are for areas where there is a high resistance to airflow such as rads, heatsinks, hard-drive cages etc. Any other places such as exhausts which have none of those in the way will perfectly fine with the AF series fans

SP fans tend to have lower CFM than their AF counterparts given the difference in blade design being geared towards force rather than flow.

It could be the extra pressure from the SP over the sickles that's making you think that there is more air being moved.

But that's just a theory based on the info you've given.

Don't think I've got anything wrong, I'm sure someone will correct me if I have though.

Thank you resident :) i answered my own question by flicking through the store lol, but would the AF's possibly still offer a better performance? IM not bothered about the L.E.Ds anymore, after help with my first OC iv realised keeping the inside cool is prior to aesthetics' :)

TBH I couldn't really tell you for definite. I've never used sickleflow fans so I've not got an idea of their performance.

In my rig I'm using 4 AF120 Quiet Edition fans, 3 in, 1 out & 2 SP120 fans, which are mounted on a radiator, exhausting out the top.

I'm looking at the temps on my fans controller and air in temp is 21.2°c and air out temp is 24.0°c and that's with the PSU/GPU loading ~30°c of air into the case and the NB at 39°c

Now I'm only currently just web-browsing but I personally think that's pretty good going.
