Worth replacing the stock paste?

I have an EVGA 8800GTX ACS3 edition, but I still get very high temps with it, close to 90c at load.

I was wondering if it's worth stripping the card down and replacing the stock paste with Ceramique or AS5?

Anyone tried this?

Yep, card is free of dust, just cleaned it yesterday. My case is quite small and there is a lot in there - 3 HDD's etc, so that definately doesn't help.

Also noise is an issue, I hate it and will always sarifice temps a little for noise control, but I would like to make things a little cooler.

I have an Antec Spot Cool blowing onto the front of the card.

I currently have 2 of my 3 HDD's at the front bottom of the case and the 3rd in the 5.25 bays. I might move one more up there to free the intake airflow from the lower front a little, and maybe even put another fan at the back of the 3.5 bays to help draw the cool air towards the card.

Hmmm, I'm also thinking if I cut a 120mm blowhole right above the card and install an intake fan there, that would make a huge difference. What do you reckon?

Thanks for the replies.
