Worth swapping?

Ive currently got a E6300 @ 2.9 Ghz. I can get a Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.33Ghz (1333FSB) for cheap and am wondering would I see a massive performance boost in gameplay? also what overclocks do these CPU's usually get?

Also is i dunno if its worth the hassle of swapping everything over for not a lot of increase...?

Although thats the 6300 @ 1.8 most likily.

Im getting a 280GTX aswell so is the 6300 @ 2.9 upto the job?

i think a dual at 2.9 is plenty for the games you're going to play at the moment, there isn't a game out there you can't play, save your cash a bit longer for when the prices come down some more (hopefully )
