worth swapping

been discusing swaping my mobo with my mates with him, but i want to know if its worth and and i don't do something i will regret, his mobo was bought from ocuk and was b-grade and the only thing missing was lcd poster and i/o sheild, i know this is true because i built the computer for him http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-339-AS

if i did swap he would be keeping the sound card, as i have an asus xonar d2 happily sitting in my case

my mobo origanly cost me £75, so think its worth it?

Isn't the sound card that goes into the top black slot on the crosshair partly integrated into the motherboard? :confused:

i don't think so in peoples reviews of it people have said that they have swapped cards with that mobo, or do you mean you can't use it on any other mobo's, so he couldn't use it on my mobo?

also i've heard the drivers are a little tricky if its not in that slot but im not to sure about the having to be with that board bit?

You can use other sound cards in that board but not sure you can use the card from the crosshair on another board......

hmmm i will have to talk to him about that, ill explain that its a bag of doo doo anyway and hes better of using onboard and selling that, but do you think its worth the swap?

i have confirmed that the supreme x-fi sound card is a riser sound card and will not work with any other mobo's, but do you think its worth the swap?
