I can't decide whether to go for a budget monitor of around £130 or for a higher quality of around £240. I'll be playing a lot of games so I will make use of the 120hz, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra £100? I'll also be doing a lot of design work and movie watching.

The £130 would be something like this and the £240 would be this (sort of the little brother of the BenQ 2420T?). I'm not sure what the difference in quality of monitor would be, thought from what I've heard the 120hz makes a huge difference!

I'd be grateful for any opinions!

as monitors normally lasts longer than any other component, a £100 investment spreaded over a minimum 5 yrs period doesn't look too bad to me.
120hz for someone is totally worth it, but as I haven't tried it, cant say much :)
