Worth the price hike?

Ok, decided as i am getting as summer job time to upgrade my sound system. At the moment i have a "carian audio" or something, 5.1 system, with well, 3 of the speakers broken. So i am going to get some Acoustic Energy Aego M 2.1. That i am sure of.

I also plan to purchase a good pair of headphones. I tried on some HD515's in the shop and they sounded superb. I have read some online reviews of them, which seem to think the higher models are a lot better. So, i have managed to source some HD595 for about £30 more than the 515's.

Now question is: Is ti worth paying the extra £30... (or get the 555's which are in the middle)?

games, music and films through my xfi. Might also get a light bit of travel with the ipod...

Think due to my budget, i will have to go with the HD555's. I have read they are not much worse than their older brother, and are the same price as the HD515's were. Cheers anyway. Might still try and stretch it get the better ones though... hmm so confusing.

I don't really mind not getting the speaker clamp stand thingy either. I can just build one, since i am making a monitor enclosure etc. i might aswell.

Will do. The moniter enclosure thing i am doing on monday, so if i have any left over wood i will use it.
