I would say start a new build, you can keep the case, hard drive's, but the gpu you upgrade now or later.

Absolutely

My advice would be gauge how much you might get for your old system by looking at completed listings. Then minus 15% off the average eBay price and list the parts on members market first. You would be paying about 15% in fees to eBay which you won't here if they don't sell here list them as as "By It Now" for the average eBay selling price. Always works for me

Then add what ever you get to your original budget an come back with a new thread along the lines of "Spec me a £600 rig"

Also consider moving to Mini-ITX so much more sexier than a big clunking ATX!!!

I might hold off a while until i can increase my budget. New budget will be around £550
