Worth the upgrade?

Looking at upgrading from my current FX-6350 to a FX8350.

Mr Taxman gave me a 600 quid rebate, so I have 100 quid for an upgrade.

Use: Heavy 1080p gaming... light photoshop and video editing.

3m/6t -> 4m/8t CPU upgrade is reasonable in heavy 1080p gaming, but you must be hardware-prepared for this. Nothing special in 95% cases, but it's better to make sure 100%.

You mite get a few more fps if you go for an 8350 and it will help with encoding .

Is it worth it , not sure! think i would bank the money until next upgrade.
