Worth upgrading from 1 x 24" to 32" for PC Gaming?

Got £350 to spend on a new screen.

Would this be worth it?

Looking at Samsung Series 5 550

It depends how close you're sitting. You are comparing a cheap TV to a nameless monitor. We need more information.

probably no more than 2 foot away, im thinking at that range the pixels would look huge and not overly nice?

Yes but a 24" IPS LCD would cost you ~£350 (a little over maybe) anyway. So it wouldn't be an upgrade in size.

The U2410 is nice.

No really it isnt.

I now dont have the dell there anymore and use the tv for everything inc web development and its fine.

No i play bad company 2 quite a lot and i havent noticed anything like that, but then again im not the type to get the binoculars out and look for it. Its great for games, i use it for 85% gaming and wouldnt go back to a monitor, no way. Screen was £400 its a series 5 and does everything i need tbh.

I believe the higher the refresh rate the better. But what if you were to compare the Samsung Series 5 to the Dell 3008 how much better would it be than the 5 series?
