Worth upgrading from 390 to rx480?

I'm asking for a friend, so my friend is liking the look of the XFX grr rx480 given it's price at the moment, with the rx480's being better now from when they launched, does it make it a good enough upgrade for the cost of a new card? I honestly could give him an answer so I thought I would ask you guys, cheers

its not worth it, they are pretty equal performance wise. The Only noticeable aspect would be power draw (and thus heat generated).

Minimum upgrade I'd suggest for a 390 is a 1070.

Best just to wait for AMDs next offerings IMO.
