Worth Upgrading from a GTX 560Ti this Christmas?

Hey, I just wanted to know the opinion you guys have on this issue. Pretty recently I built my new gaming PC, using an i5 4430, and a second-hand Asus GTX 560Ti DirectCUI II. It runs most newer games at around High settings, and some really high end games like Battlefield 4 on a mix of medium/high.

Now, my question is: Do you think it's worth upgrading from a GTX 560Ti this Christmas, and if so, what card would you guys recommend? I'm thinking a GTX 760, so that should give you the idea of a price range (£200ish). I reckon I could keep the 560Ti, but I think it might start struggling with games like Battlefield 4 and such coming out.

TL;DR: Got a GTX 560Ti currently, worth upgrading to something like a GTX 760 at Christmas, or keeping the 560Ti for the time being?

Thanks, Will.

It might be worthwhile upgrading to 7970.

These two cards below is your best option at this point in time:

If you sell your current 560ti along with the AMD games in the never settle bundle, I think it will be a bargain for such a capable card.

Alternatively, I recommend the Sapphire Toxic r9 280x, which is better, pre overclocked. However, it does not come with games at this moment in time. Also, you will have to pay a premium on top, it costs in the region of 255-270ish.

Yeah, I haven't actually considered a 7970, I thought it was much more expensive than it actually is. I suppose I've never really properly gone AMD on the GPU side, always relied on NVIDIA. I'll have a look at the cards you suggested, thanks for the help :D

I have a 560ti as well and it is not enough for today's games, having only 1GB VRam. I will be replacing it with a 780/290X. Your best option is probably the 7950, 7970 even better if you can afford it :)

Some great prices on the 7970 and will be twice as fast as your current 560Ti and a little more with an overclock.

I don't know much about that 4430 CPU, but should imagine it being fine. I guess you are a 1080P gamer?

I would grab myself a 7950 or 7970 if i was just gaming at 1080p these days. 3gb of Vram is pretty much all you need and more at normal resolutions, they also have a ton of grunt for the money.
