I have a I5 2500K, but recently moved my build to a Bitfenix prodigy with a Z77 itx board.

Is it worth me upgrading from a 2500K to a 3570K for the extra £40 or so it might cost me once I sold the 2500K?

I have a GTX670, would there be any benefit also from that then running at PCI 3.0 speeds?

I would never have considered it in the past, but I now have a Z77 board after all.

thoughts..... ?

No real need to upgrade unless you definitely want the few extra features Z77 + IB gives you.

Personally, save the money either put it towards something else or save it :)

I only realised recently that 2xxx series chips won't be able to run PCI-E 3.0.

What happens when you combine a GTX 600 series graphics card + Sandybridge CPU?
The graphics card still works, but only at PCI-E 2.0 speeds or..?

Only at PCIE 2.0 speeds, which it won't saturate either.
