Totally agree with this. These threads pop up from time to time as it is a pertinent question, and the answer is normally always the same...OP is asking this for 1080p single card gaming. If the 2600k is clocked up and paired with a single 680, it will suit him just as well as a hexcore Ivy-E for games. There shouldn't be any games that can utilize more than what a clocked 2600k can offer AND get noticeable gains with a 4930k.
Not sure if it's worth it or not. Only really play games on a 680.
Would there be a significant jump in performance or would I have to get a 780ti to see that.
