Worth upgrading my gfx?

Currently i own a GTX 670 FTW 2gb and was wondering is there a single card solution worth upgrading to or am i better of waiting another year?

I do want to play battlefield 4 and some of the newer games coming out this / next year on high / ultra setting with a nice amount of AA enabled

it will be for a 1080p monitor might consider replacing it with a 120hz / 1440p in the near future

Would the 7970 matrix platinum be a nice upgrade or should i be looking more towards 780 territory?
 
I think your GTX 670 will be fine for up coming games @ 1920 x 1080.

If you are going to go 120\144 hz or 2560 x 1440 \ 1600 then I would upgrade
to GTX 780 or 290X as these perform very well at resolutions over 1920 x 1080.

If you are quite happy at the moment with the performance you are getting from
your graphics card in games,then I would keep your money in your pocket ;)
