Worth upgrading my memory?

Hi,

Ive just upgraded my CPU, Motherboard and Graphics card. Im just wondering whether its worth upgrading the RAM(2x512mb+1gig pc3200) as well(all in SIG)?

I dont overclock.

Im happy with the amount, but theres faster memory out there though and im wondering if it would make much difference?

You'd get better results with 2x1gb paired sticks then your getting with you mixed batch. Just depends on if you can get a good price for the ram you've got so that the outlay is minimal. Don't expect a big boost though the difference isn't huge.

yeah, i used to have two 512mb on dual channel, then later i needed another gig and only had one extra slot. Now though ive got 4 slots, so i could sell on this memory and replace it with 2x1gig sticks like you say. thanks for the help mate
