Worth upgrading my PC?

I have created threads about upgrading my PC, but thing is I dunno if I should or not in the first place. I hardly use but that's only because I have a macbook pro which is much quicker(i7, 8GB ectt) compared to my dated (Q6600, 2GB ectt).. My 8800GT died the other day, so now I put 6800 which makes it pretty useless for gaming.

My question is it worth upgrading. I have PS3 and 360 that I game on, but I still wanna upgrade. Shall I just upgrade the RAM? Will that help? It's very slow. Or shall I upgrade the whole thing (i5, 8GB, 660 ti)?

Please any suggestion?

Depends what games you want to play, quad cores starting to become a must as 2 core games are becoming a history...

the i3 has hyper threading though which gives it 2 more virtual cores. my brother has a g620 for his pc and it plays what he like perfectly.

id say the i3 is still a viable option for a budget cpu
