Hi there,

I am wondering wether or not I would actually need to upgrade my PSU should I want to upgrade to an 8800 GTS/GTX in the near future.
My spec is as follow's :-
AMD x2 3800+ (OC'd to 2500mhz)
2GB DDR
ASUS SLI Premium
2 x 7900GT's
3 x SATA hdd's
1 x DVD RW
4 x 80mm Case fans
1x 120mm case fan
PSU - Antec Trueblue 2.0 480w (dual 12v with 18a's each)

If you would recomend upgrading, what would you go for between the OCZ's GameXstream 600w and 700w?

Cheers

I'd say that's just enough actually, as long as you are not going to SLI 8800.

If you are getting a new PSU anyway then I'd say go for the 700W.

Just enough lol....... people really do over compensate for power these days....

If you buy a quality PSU you don't need to go OTT....

Single card, 600W will be fine, if you don't plan for SLI then spending extra nuggets for something you don't need is wasted money, stick with 600W+, Corsair have a 620W PSU which would be well suited.
