i currently have a 350watt antec smartpower PSU..

im looking to upgrade if it is worth it - more efficient quieter, less heat production

i believe the smartpower is still a pretty good PSU

It's good yep, but if you plan to upgrade then its advisable.

Anything from Seasonic, Enermax or FSP will be a good choice :)

Stick a seasonic 600w in there, youll never have to worry about PSU fora long time after that, and shouldnt have a single problem, best thing to do in my opinion, nothing wrong with having too much power

ok ive read some reviews of the seasonic and im impressed! Will order one of them..

anyone got any suggestions what i can replace my aero 7+ socket A fan with need the quietist! dont play games anymore so im only putting 1.7volts though it

If you plan to overclock then a better PSU will make your system much more stable. I had a Antec 330w Truepower and the CPU voltage dipped constantly after overclocking. No voltage problems after installing a 550w Antec.
