I currently have an Intel C2D E6600, would I see much of a boost in performance if I installed a Q6600 instead? I see they are only £170 odd quid at the moment.
 
I use my machine purely for games, my m/board supports them and they are quite cheap at the moment. I just dont know if it will give me £170 worth of performance gain. If I`m only going to gain a few fps then obviously its not worth it.
