Worth upgrading

Hi, is it worth me upgrading my setup to a I7, have been looking at the 920, people are getting really good overclocks with these's,, thanks in-advance,,

What do you use your rig for?, if its just gaming I would say no, but if you do lots of encoding then it might be worth the spend. Otherwise I would say if your itching for an upgrade just grab an SSD and feel the goodness .

I would tend to agree with Hawker, if you are just using your rig for gaming then your setup at the moment is fine, However if you tend to do a lot of graphical work amd you are using software which is power hungry then yes by all means. I get loads of people asking me in work should I upgrade to an i7 and I ask the same question as Hawker what do you use your system for...?

save your money, your computer is more than okay for quite a while.

I went from a similar setup to i7, and whilst it's a little faster it's nothing stellar.

If you have the cash for it and feel like you deserve a treat, go for it

from your current rig it's not worth it tbh, not unless you've just got an itch that only an upgrade will scratch.

Yes it is just gaming rig,,, these SSD are they really that good??
