Worth Upgrading?

Hi Guys,

Currently have:

700watt OCZ Power Supply
4Gb OCZ Gold 1333mhz RAM
ASUS GTX 480
AMD Phenom 1055T OC'ed at 3.9ghz

Reckon it is worth upgrading to 8GB RAM? I used photoshop and premiere quite a lot and have 2 monitors (one is my TV when editing at high resolutions)

I dont video edit a lot at the moment but when i do i can use up a lot of RAM quite quickly and i will be editing more and more soon, reckon its worth the upgrade, to buy another 4GB Dual CHannel OCZ Gold?

There are some really good ram prices at the moment so I would say yes.

Yes, photoshop can benefit quite a lot from having a decent amount of RAM and it'll help for those few times when you're video editing too.

I may purchase another OCZ gold set then

match my exisiting set haha!

Anything else you guys can think which is wort an upgrade, i currently dont have an SLI capable board but im waiting to see new new Bulldozer chips first

You can never have too much RAM :-)

Might want to upgrade to a SSD when you look at bulldozer, next Gen will be out by that point

Good point, SSD was one of my best upgrades and I could see the difference immediately. Hard drives seem to be the biggest bottleneck in most cases.

Which SSD would you recommend? And would it be to install my O/S on? then use my 1TB hard drive as storage?
