Worth upgrading?

Guys I have at the moment a XFX HD5870 (900/1250). Is it worth selling it while I can still get £100+ for it, and buying a HD6950 and flashing it to a 6970? Rest of my spec is in my sig!
Use my PC mainly for video editing and gaming.

No. The 6970 doesn't perform that much better than the 5870. If you want to upgrade, crossfire or get the 6990 when it comes out.

if your rig can handle the games you want to play at the resolution you want with the level of detail you think is acceptable, then no need to upgrade, at least until the next gen cards hit the shelves

Yeah I was thinking of that, and flashing it to 5870 speeds, stream processors are laser locked though!
Also I don't think my Corsair HX620 could cope!
