At the moment I have an Asus GTX 670. Can anything blow this away for around £200 or should I keep it?

Using a 2600k @ 4.5Ghz and 16GB of Ram with the 670 at the moment. Thoughts anyone?

If you are on 1080p keep the GTX 670.

'Blow away' can be a bit subjective, though I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the jump from 7970 to 290 in some games. Not that they were ever struggling tbh...

We should soon have confirmation about new Nvidia cards, possibly coming in September/October. The member's market would be good pickings around that time if you manage to get a good price for your 670 (going by your budget of 200).

If you can get £120 or more for your 670, you could buy a new 290 and get somewhere in the region of 30%-40% higher framerates, depending on the game of course.

It would also allow you to downsample from 1440/1600p+ (double the frame buffer!), so your 1080p would have a lot more graphic fidelity :)

I can see at least two great 290s with aftermarket cooling (MSI Twin Frozr and Gigabyte Windforce) currently on This Week Only for £300. As I said, if you can get £120 or more, possibly even just £100, you could grab a 290 and be within your £200 budget just fine :)
