worth waiting for santa rosa

im looking to buy a laptop soon. and i dont want to spend massive amounts of money especially with new tech coming out so often.

so should i wait for these new processors for laptops to come out in march...before i purchase a laptop

I think it depends what you are going to use the laptop for. If you wait until march i am sure by that time there will be another processor better than the santa rosa anounced, and if you wait for that one then there will be another anounced etc..... Just get the best current C2D processor, thats my opinion. Good luck
